Description

Day 1: In the early morning, your driver will be waiting at the hotel reception with a private transfer-van to take you to the airport ready to begin your journey. After checking in at the airport, you will fly to Mtemere Airstrip in Nyerere National Park, the largest national park in Tanzania. Upon arrival, you will meet a safari guide and your safari adventure begins immediately, with lunch served inside the park (bush lunch). At the end of your adventurous day, you will be transferred back to your accommodation. Day 2: After breakfast, you will enjoy a boat safari on the Rufiji River starting at 10:00 am and lasting for two hours. As the largest river in Tanzania, the Rufiji offers incredible wildlife viewing opportunities, home to hippos, crocodiles, and a wide range of bird species. With a bit of luck, you might also spot elephants or giraffes drinking from the river. After the boat safari, you will return to the accommodation for lunch and some relaxing time, perhaps enjoy swimming pool or simply unwinding before catching your afternoon flight back to Zanzibar. Upon your arrival in Zanzibar, our driver will be ready to meet you and take you back to your hotel.
