Visit local markets, see the Clock Tower (the halfway point between Cairo and Cape Town), discover colorful stalls at the Maasai Market, and meet local artisans and traders. Your guide will share stories about Arusha’s history, culture, and the daily life of its people. Next, travel to Materuni Village, located on the lush slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival, be welcomed by friendly Chagga locals who will guide you through their traditional coffee-making process. Learn how to roast, grind, and brew your own fresh coffee – and enjoy the rich aroma and taste of a cup you’ve prepared yourself. After your coffee experience, set off on a short hike through green hills and banana plantations to reach the majestic Materuni Waterfalls. Feel the refreshing mist as the water cascades down over 90 meters into a crystal-clear pool – a perfect spot for scenic photos and a refreshing dip if you wish.
