Ecoscience Science Center & Luxury Lodge

Ecoscience Science Center & Luxury Lodge is situated on the North East border of Tarangire National Park, 20 kilometres South of the village of Makuyuni. Tarangire National Park is renowned for it's elephants and fantastic landscapes.
This luxury (and unusual) boutique lodge was designed by Spanish architect Maria Rodriguez-Carreño Villangomez. The architecture of the huts and the restaurant is based on the Maasai hut or banda, all original, modern and minimalistic versions.
Accommodation is in 6 large huts all with verandas overlooking the bush. Each hut has a double bed, couch, wardrobe, office desk and an en-suite bathroom. From every bed there are spectacular views of Radilen hill, at the opposite side of the valley.

Ecoscience Science Center
The emphasis of the Science Center is on the interaction with its scientific community. It is a satellite in Maasai land where scientists and students, universities, national and international have the opportunity to meet.
Small groups of scientists and /or students can stay at Ecoscience Luxury Lodge for their investigation or for conferences.
The Science Center is completely independent from the luxury lodge and consists of 10 large safari tents. The two largest ones are a restaurant and conference rooms with a library.
Each tent has an en-suite bathroom and can sleep 2 scientists. Each has his own desk with internet connection.
